The Agenda for each City Council meeting is prepared by the City Clerk, Cecilia Tumulty.  The Agenda is published each Friday prior to a City Council meeting.   Simply click on the date of the meeting and the agenda will open using Adobe Acrobat Reader.  A free download of the Adobe Reader program is available below.  

All audio recordings of the Springfield City Council are published on this site and available to the public.  The audio recording is published as an an MP3 file.  If you need an audio player to access the file and do not have one installed on your computer, you can download the Microsoft Media Player 12 for Windows.  A link can be found on the column to the left to download a free version. 

Zoning issues are heard by the City Council on the third Tuesday of the month unless specifically scheduled by the Council.  You may view Zoning Agendas here as well as listen to audio recordings of zoning hearings before the City Council.  

Meeting minutes are available after the City Council has approved their content.   You can view the approved Minutes which have been published on this site by clicking on the corresponding date.  An Ordinance Summary is available which provides a brief description of each ordinance passed by the City Council, the Agenda number and the final Ordinance number assigned by the City Clerk's office.  Finally, a packet of ordinances passed by the Council is available by date approximately 5 days following passage.  Simply click on the date and a copy of the ordinances passed will appear in a separate window.
